Today is the first day of my Christmas break for 2015, which means I have time to work on a blog post.  It has been a long time in coming; thanks to Sarah (sarahlejeune.com) for all her professional expertise and advice.

As I think about what I would like to share, it is a list of 20 of my favorite reads from this past year.

For the first time in my life, I was in a book club this past year.  I loved being in a book club.  I read more than ever before.  The other members introduced me to topics and genres that I had never considered.  I am a better person as a result of that experience.

Here is a list, in no particular order, of my 20 Favorite Reads for 2015:

  2. “The Invention of Wings” by Sue Monk Kidd
  3. “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?” by Maria Semple
